Palomar College constitutes a single-college district, and is the largest single community college district in San Diego County.  The main campus sits on over 200 acres in San Marcos, is designated as a botanical garden and is home to Edwin and Frances Hunter Arboretum. Its approximately 28,000 full-time and part-time students enjoy classes, labs, athletics, performing arts, and student activities at the main campus and at Education Centers in Escondido, Fallbrook and Rancho Bernardo.  At Palomar, students may choose from over 150 associate degrees, certificates programs, transfer options to 4-year institutions, and the most valuable career education programs of within the region.
